is exactly what Kelsey writes. Her heart and her wisdom bely her years. I love that I can learn from younger generations.
Do yourself a favor and keep up with this girl!

Slow of Heart
This tomb is empty
This tomb is empty
So why are you looking for me here?
This grave is empty
This grave is empty
So why are you seeking me here?
Oh, you slow of heart
You slow of heart
To understand
This house is empty
This house is empty
So why are you knocking on that door?
Oh, you slow of heart
You slow of heart
To understand
Ryan Smith

And we no longer have anything to fear! amen

Jesus, they say You walked on water once
When You lived as all men do
Please teach me how to walk the way You did
Because I want to want to walk with You
Jesus, they say You taught a lame man how to dance
When he had never stood without a crutch
Here I am Lord – holding out my withered hands
I’m just waiting be touched
Jesus – write me into Your story
Whisper it to me
And let me know I’m yours
Jesus, they say You spoke and calmed an angry wave
That was tossed across a stormy sea
Please teach me how to listen, how to obey
Cause there’s a storm inside of me
Jesus, they drove the cold nails through Your tired hands
And rolled a stone to seal Your grave
Feels like the devil’s rolled a stone onto my heart
Can You roll that stone away?
RIch Mullins, Mitch McVicker, Dana Waddel
His followers, in shock and grief, wondered what to do next.
They were alone and afraid.
What happened to everything they had come to believe?
Why did He leave them? Where do they go from here?
They didn’t know that Sunday was coming. They didn’t have the hope that we do.
They only saw the Death, with no idea of the coming Resurrection.
In the rain and thunder and quaking, they huddled in abandonment.
The day that true love died.

Ok, so I am bad at updating. What is really so sad is that I have not been blogging about my precious little man and he is already 7 months old! Totally missed the big 6 month mark! Totally missed the “firsts” like laughs and teeth! So this is catch up!
Elijah is:
~sitting up
~rolling over both ways
~trying to crawl
~cutting 2 front teeth on the bottom (Ouch!!)
~eating all kinds of new foods
~loving sweet potatoes, carrots, fruits of all kinds, and prunes!
~dancing when he hears music
~laughing all the time, he cracks himself up ![]()
~saying “Mamama”, which Chad says is just because he likes the pressure on his gums and he doesn’t know what he’s saying, whatever!
~totally lighting up when we come in a room, especially in the morning when we get him out of his bed
~sleeping in his big boy bed all night!!! That is two HUGE victories!

Elijah at his Great-grandparents' 60th Anniversary party!

At heart, I am still a little girl who loves fairy tales, especially Cinderella. This is still one of my favorite songs that I sing to Elijah at night.
So this is Love
So this is love, Mmmmmm
So this is love
So this is what makes life divine
I’m all aglow, Mmmmmm
And now I know
The key to all heaven is mine
My heart has wings, Mmmmmm
And I can fly
I’ll touch ev’ry star in the sky
So this is the miracle that I’ve been dreaming of
Mmmmmm
Mmmmmm
So this is love
This is love to me.

I thought the 5 people who read my blog might need a little fun. I saw this on Kendra’s Facebook and it was a challenge. See what you know.
Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
Go to IMDB and find a quote from each movie.
Post them in a note for everyone to guess.
Strike it out when someone guesses correctly and put who guessed and the movie.
No Google, or using IMDB search functions. That’s cheating.
1. Thou hast me, if thou hast me, at the worst; and thou shalt wear me, if thou wear me, better and better.
X2. See, that’s very good news. I thought I was alone in the love department. ~Kendra “Wimbeldon”
X3. We always knew you were a whoopsie… ~Chad “Stardust”
4. A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say “but I was told by others to do thus” or that “virtue was not convinient at the time. This will not suffice. Remember that.
X5. I think you’ve been afraid all your life. ~Nina “Gladiator”
6. I always like going South; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
X7. Some men are Baptists, others Catholics; my father was an Oldsmobile man~Chad “A Christmas Story”
8. That guy doing Potsie is unbelievable.
X9. First thing I’ma do… I’ma get me a tattoo. It gon’ say, “Thug Nasty, Nasty Thug!” ~Chad “Barbershop”
X10. It’s a wonder you’re still alive. Will someone get this big walking carpet out of my way? ~Whit “Star Wars”
X11. Oh, but you can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you. What if I went ’round sayin’ I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they’d put me away. Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help! Help! I’m being repressed! ~Bekah “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”
12. Are you watching closely?
13. It’s a black…tank!
X14. I’m trying to free your mind. But I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it. ~Nina “The Matrix”
15. I shall leave walking on water to the Son of God. Fortunately I tripped over an angel.
